Microsoft Visual Interdev 6.0 Programmer's Guide
By Microsoft Corporation
B: This is a great book for beginners or those who need to understand all those features that they ignored in VID 1.0. This is a small book that contains easy to understand and follow steps. You won't learn every nook and cranny but you will become comfortable in the complex development environment.

The first section covers the basics including creating a project, adding/editing pages, working with a database, and debugging. The second section goes further into the web project environment. VID 6.0 makes it easy for you to work on your own local machine or on the remote server including security. The third section handles site design including link verification, navigation, and themes. The fourth section is where I spent most of my time since it covered database integration. VID has a data control that makes managing your database objects and data easy to manage. Part 5 and 6 cover scripting and integrated solutions. This is where you learn how to debug your code, very cool!
